Do I need dance experience?
Not at all. The classes are beginner-friendly and start from zero. We work on presence, intention, posture, the burlesque walk and the confidence to take up space.
What happens in a class?
Sessions combine movement, musicality, gesture, storytelling and choreography. Depending on the module, we may also explore chair work, gloves, stockings, feather fans or other performance details.
Will I have to undress?
No. Classes are fully clothed and focus on movement, storytelling and stage presence. Burlesque lives in suggestion, not exposure.
What do I wear?
Wear whatever lets you move and feel like yourself: leggings, a vintage dress or something with a little sparkle. Heels are welcome but never required.
Who are the classes for?
Classes are for adults aged 18 and over who identify as women. We welcome every body, background and experience level. The group size is kept between 8 and 12 participants.
What languages are spoken?
Classes can be followed in English, Dutch, Brazilian Portuguese, Spanish, Italian and French.
I am not confident in my body. Is this still for me?
Yes. You do not need to feel perfect before you arrive. The room is designed to help you discover confidence together, at your own pace.
Can I book a single class?
Yes. Each date has its own Luma booking link in the Single classes section. The single-class price is €30 for non-members or €20 for members.
Where do classes take place?
The current Autumn 2026 cycle takes place at House of Luna, Aagje Dekenstraat 39B, Rotterdam. The venue for future cycles is confirmed with registered participants.
How long is each session?
Each session runs for 1.5 hours, from 19:00 to 20:30.
How much does it cost?
The 4-class cycle is €110 incl. BTW. A single class is €30 incl. BTW for non-members or €20 incl. BTW for members.
How does membership work?
Annual membership costs €95, lasts one year and requires Luma approval. Members receive €20 single classes, priority booking, practice sessions and access to member-only workshops.
Can I organise a private group?
Yes. Bachelorette and private group experiences are arranged around your occasion and date. The minimum is six participants, and you receive confirmation of the venue and payment details after your request.
